Cây thủy tùng, đặc tính sinh trưởng và đặc điểm hình thái của cây thủy tùng, gỗ thủy tùng là gỗ gì, gỗ thủy tùng thuộc nhóm mấy, gỗ thủy tùng có tốt không? gỗ thủy tùng có ứng dụng gì và có giá trị kinh tế như thế nào?
1.Cây thủy tùng:
– Cây thủy tùng còn gọi là thông nước.
– Tên khoa học : Glyptostrobus pensilis.
– Cây thủy tùng là cây gỗ trung bình đến to, có thân cao đến 30m hoặc hơn, đường kính thân 0,6 – 1m hay hơn. . Vỏ cây dày, hơi xốp, màu xám, nứt dọc. Cây có rễ khí sinh không bị ngập, phát sinh từ rễ bên, cao 30 cm, mọc lan xa cách gốc tới 6–7 m.
– Cây rụng lá, có tán hình nón hẹp. Lá có 2 dạng: ở cành dinh dưỡng có hình dùi, dài 0,6-1,3 cm, xếp thành 2-3 dãy và rụng vào mùa khô, ở cành sinh sản có hình vảy, dài 0,4 cm và không rụng. Nón đơn tính, cùng gốc, mọc riêng rẽ ở đầu cành.
– Hạt chính tháng 11 – 12, rất ít gặp cây thủy tùng con tái sinh dưới tán rừng.
– Cây thủy tùng ưu tiên mọc trong một số rừng đầm lầy rậm nhiệt đới nửa rụng lá trên đất sình lầy đọng nước thường xuyên, màu nâu đỏ và đất feralit nâu đỏm, nâu vàng, tầng dày, độ phì nhiêu cao, ở độ cao 700m cùng với một sống loại cây lá rộng.
– Đây là loại cây đặc hữu ở vùng cận nhiệt đới Đông Nam Trung Quốc, từ Tây Phúc Kiến tới Đông Nam Vân Nam, và cũng hiện diện ở miền nam Việt Nam.
2.Cây thủy tùng thuộc nhóm mấy?
– Thủy tùng là một loại gỗ quý thuộc nhóm IA ( trong danh nhóm gỗ Việt Nam).

– Gỗ thủy tùng là loại gỗ tốt, có mùi thơm, tớ mịn, và không bị mối mọt, nứt nẻ, cong vênh, gỗ thủy tùng dễ gia công, xốp và nhẹ nên được dùng làm mũ, nút chai và phích, phao cứu sinh…
– Gỗ thủy tùng tạo nên cơn sốt trong khoảng thời gian dài, bỡi tính chất phong thủy và gỗ đẹp.
– Gỗ thủy tùng tồn tại trong thị trường gồm hai dạng: thủy tùng xanh và thủy tùng đỏ, mỗi loại lại có những đặc điểm khác nhau.
– Gỗ thủy tùng xanh: là những khối gỗ Thủy Tùng ngâm sâu dưới bùn đất trong hàng trăm năm. Môi trường ẩm đã khiến cho khối gỗ chuyển sang màu xanh đen tự nhiên vô cùng đẹp mắt. thường vùi sâu dưới lòng đất giữa đại ngàn Tây Nguyên, hoặc thậm chí có những khối còn nằm sâu dưới lòng hồ Thủy Điện. Chính vì vậy mà tìm kiếm và khai thác được một khối gỗ tùng xanh tốn rất nhiều nhiều thời gian và công sức.
Những khối gỗ Thủy Tùng Xanh thường có đường vân đậm và màu sắc đẹp hơn so với Thủy Tùng Đỏ. Đường vân đậm và sắc nét, uốn lượn mềm mại tạo thành những đường tròn vô cùng đẹp mắt.
Gỗ tùng xanh thường có niên đại lâu hơn khá nhiều so với Thủy Tùng Đỏ, nhưng khối Thủy Tùng Xanh vùi mình trong lòng đất hàng trăm năm đã tự chuyển mình thành màu sắc xanh đen như những khối cẩm thạch, vô cùng đặc trưng và tự nhiên.
Gỗ tùng xanh có độ thẩm mĩ cao cũng như độ độc và hiếm nên có giá rát cao, những đại gia sẵn sàng trả giá hàng trăm triệu cho những bức tượng Di Lạc hay những đôi Lục Bình từ gỗ tùng xanh.
– Gỗ tùng đỏ: Tùng Đỏ là loại sống trong môi trường khô ráo. Hiện nay, tùng Xanh là loại được ưa chuộng và có giá trị cao hơn. Tùng đỏ có màu đỏ, nâu sẫm. Vân của tùng đỏ thường nhỏ và thỉnh thoảng điểm những đốm sẫm màu trên thân của khối gỗ.
Tùng đỏ chủ yếu được chế tác thành Lục Bình, một số ít là tượng Di Lặc và sập gỗ. Giá của những sản phẩm từ Thủy Tùng Đỏ tương đối cao, từ vài chục triệu đến hàng trăm triệu, Riêng những bộ Sập Gỗ Thủy Tùng thì luôn luôn là vài trăm triệu đồng.
